I just posted this on DGRR FB..

DGRR and NVNC will hold a Video Contest...

Create a Video of DGRR and ONE (1) winner will get a free night at NVNC next year and FREE registration to DGRR 2013!

Winner will be picked by NVNC owner/staff and the Organizer(s) of DGRR... and number of view by public will also give you bonus points (Youtube view count).

Here are some of the rules...

1. Needs to be PG-13
2. Must include DGRR Logo (If you don't have one, either Google or let me know) and web address.
3. Must be less than 5 minutes long
4. Must be uploaded on Youtube and must set the viewing to public.
5. By entering this Video Contest, you are allowing DGRR to use your video.

Deadline is July 31st, 2012.

Winner will be announced Sept. 1st, 2012.

This year, I've had handful of you requesting shirts to be mailed out to you because you missed the event.

As stated earlier, if you missed the event, didn't contact anyone to pick up the shirts, didn't contact anyone to buy your registration, and now expect me to spend my time finding your shirt, pack them, wait in line at the post office, etc.... especially I have stated here on the front page and the registration page that I WILL NOT SHIP EVENT T-shirts, then you are mistaken that I will send it to you. Again, take some responsibility of reading what has been stated here and don't blame me for you not taking action prior. Especially don't assume I have no other priorities than to respond to you and do what you think its right...

Again, this has been the way DGRR has been ran for the past 8 years... NO SHIRTS WILL BE SHIPPED after the EVENT!!!!! If you want them, all the left over shirts will be raffled off in future DGRR events. You really want them, come following year and win it or buy it from the winner.

Looks like Friday might be the fun day and we are going to judge the car show at the Fontana Dam since weather looks to be questionable on Saturday..

We are going to start parking the car around 2PM and end parking at 4:30PM. The "Damn Dam Photoshoot" will happen between 5-5:30PM. So, please try to be there early.

I been getting few questions about, 'What if I can't make it?... Can you mail me my shirt?'.

Just so everyone is clear, I DO NOT ship shirt(s)! Most car events you attend, you pay more and you don't get a shirt. Shirt is to show that you ACTUALLY made it to the event.

Not only that, I don't have much time to pack your shirt, wait in line at the post office (not sure how your local USPS is but mine, I usually wait at least 15-45 mins).

However, you have an option to let someone else pick up the shirt or sell your registration to someone else (since no shirts for those who register now).

This year, I am not going to let any one pick up registration bags unless I was told in advance. We will also check photo ID (driver's license) before handing over the registration bag. This is to also check to make sure you are over 18.

Only exception will be those who registered and put guests. In those situation, ONLY the person who register can get all the guests registrations.

Email, PM, or FB and let me know. I need to know your:

Your name: First and Last
Registration number: on your paypal receipt
Full name of the Person who is taking your registration or picking up your registration bag with the shirt

Again, information has to be in before DGRR event starts... which means you have 2 days to do so.

As stated before, I can not guarantee your shirt sizes if you registered after March 12th, 2012.

We had influx of registration after T-shirts were ordered and as of today, ALL shirts are spoken for (except Long Sleeve, Mediums).

Sorry about this and please register early next year!
